I’m not a student; can I come to The Forum Hertfordshire’s events?

Of course you can! We have very few events that are student-only, and these are clearly marked within our event titles. Unless the event is stated as student-only, anyone is welcome to attend!

Where can I buy tickets from?

You can buy tickets from the Students’ Union receptions on College Lane and de Havilland campuses, the de Havilland SU shop or our website www.hertfordshire.su (if you’re a UH student), www.forumhertfordshire.co.uk or www.fatsoma.com (for public/non-UH students).

I’ve lost something! What can I do?

For lost property enquiries please go to the EleHouse after 4pm the day after you have lost an item (or Monday if on a weekend). Due to the late night nature of the business in The Forum and the Elehouse it takes this time to collect items into one place. Sadly we cannot respond to email or telephone enquiries regarding lost property.

I can’t attend an event any more, can I get a refund or sell my ticket on?

Sorry: unless an event is cancelled, ALL tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable.

Where can I park my car?

Yes! There’s lots of places on campus to park. The best place to park for events at The Forum Hertfordshire is in the Forum multi-storey car park, next to the venue itself. Parking charges apply bewteen 8am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (correct as of 14/11/2016):

  • 0 to 30 minutes = Free
  • 30 minutes to 3 hours = £1.00
  • 3 hours to 6 hours = £2.00
  • over 6 hours = £3.00

When is the box office open?

The box office is now closed during the day, but you can still buy tickets from the SU reception on College Lane!

I’m having trouble buying tickets, or I need help with a purchase I have made on The Forum Hertfordshire website: can you help?

Unfortunately not, however if you contact our ticket provider Fatsoma directly they can help you. Drop them an email on support@fatsoma.com.

What time do tickets go off sale?

Tickets will generally go off sale 1 hour before doors open on the night of the event (unless we’ve sold out!)

Will there be any tickets on the door?

We cannot guarantee that there will be tickets on the door to any of our events and therefore we advise you to buy your tickets in advance, to avoid disappointment.

What time is last entry?

Last entry is at 12.30am on our club nights, unless otherwise stated.

Do I need to bring ID?

Yes, you need to bring valid ID, no matter how old you are! Valid ID includes and in date passport and an in date driving licence. We also accept UK issued citizen cards.

Is there a dress code?

There is no formal dress code for most of our events but you will be asked to remove hats and hoods upon entry. On Fridays we enforce a ‘dress to impress’ policy and ask that you do not wear hats, hoods, sportswear or sports branded wear in the venue.
